Chinese pizza! Why have I never tried to make this before? Ginger infused crust, garlic chili paste and sriracha base for the sauce and broccoli, green and red peppers and tofu soaked in homemade general tso’s sauce topped with roasted sesame seeds. (Taken with Instagram)
Vegan Asian feast from the Wild Cow and BE Hive. I could eat this every day.
I tried pressing and “dry-frying” tofu for this stir fry dish because it apparently it’s supposed to taste restaurant quality. It was okay but not close to what I’ve gotten from other places. I may try and cut the slices thinner or press it longer.
Breakfast cravings brought me to make this awesome meal. Pancakes with strawberry butter, tofu scramble with soysage and spiced hash browns.
Super Spicy Sweet and Sour Knotted Tofu
I finally found knotted tofu at the Asian supermarket in Nashville. Soaked it in a cayenne, hot chili and pineapple juice marinade and fried with green and red peppers and pineapples over rice.
Probably the hottest thing I’ve ever made. My roommate washed the pan I cooked it in and tried to cook potatoes and complained because the hot spices had soaked into the pan.
Mediterranean food madness
The Wild Cow and BE Hive came together about two weeks ago with an awesome vegan Mediterranean style buffet. One of the best they’ve had yet.
General Tso’s Tofu
I found this tofu in the frozen section at the Asian supermarket in Nashville. It’s the closest thing I’ve ever had to restaurant quality tofu at home.
BBQ tofu, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus.
vegan cheeze, a how-to.
i’ve posted this before but i’m re-posting mainly to remind myself i need to make that cashew goat cheeze, immediately.
no more, “but i could never give up cheese!” ;)
teriyaki tofu chow mein + miso soup!
I took the lazy route and used Annie Chun’s chow mein meal starter kit with some veggies and some tofu that I marinated in teriyaki and tamari.
And for the miso soup I basically used this recipe sans the noodles.
nothin’ like a plate of bbq tofu, butternut squash mac ‘n “cheeze”, and steamed kale to cure a bad day.
tofu tacos! from this recipe. (I replaced all the non-vegan things with a vegan substitute)
Southern style!

2:30 am last night I made a whole mess of sushi. I’m getting better at it!
