Sandwich time! Seasoned, fried tempeh, cayenne mayo, ranch, steamed carrots and portobello mushrooms, daiya cheddar, spinach and sriracha on whole wheat multi grain bread. (Taken with instagram)
not the prettiest sandwich in the world but i present:a tempeh reuben from the vegan stoner.
flax tempeh, melted Daiya, Veganaise (with a smidge of sriracha), & green bell pepper on sprouted grain bread.
A very vegan Christmas from The BE Hive and Wild Cow.
spinach-artichoke spaghetti with homemade marinara and tempeh-bean balls. :)
Spicy Cuban grinder with jerk tofu, spicy slaw, pickles and mustard on a grilled hoagie with a side of teriyaki tempeh and rice with BBQ sauce.
Club sandwich with marinated and grilled tofu, tempeh “bacon”, lettuce, tomato, vegenaise and spicy mustard with a side of hearty miso soup with soba noodles and veggies.
The special of the day was an incredible mix of sweet, tangy and spicy. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever gotten here, or anywhere for that matter. The soup, on the other hand, wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. Something about it just didn’t hit me right but it wasn’t bad. Maybe the awesomeness of the sandwich just overtook it haha.

Grilled tempeh with local-organic squash & zucchini, served over quinoa with mushrooms and onions; topped with lemon-basil vinaigrette!
This was today’s special at The Wild Cow Nashville Vegetarian Restaurant yesterday. I’m not a huge lemony-tasting food fan but it was scrumptious.
